I am only writing this because I was asked to leave a review because they are a 'small business'. If I really rated it based on my expectations I would give it a 3/5-3.5/5. I think the solar panel and manual crank are impractical and won't charge it at all after many tries. The radio works great, I'm listening to NPR, everything is fine. I'm really disappointed I didn't notice any change growth after a long run, which is loud and inconvenient when trying to be "green" when watching TV with the whole family (it's loud at launch). I honestly wanted to return it, but wanted a "just in case" device to charge items in the event of a power outage. I would give it a 3.5/5 but the value is there. I just want to see what the company is doing in response to my review to make sure it's a good company. Not really mad at the product just unhappy with the green concept and loading aspects, like a tree hugger.
