This wireless kit has everything you need in a carrying case that fits easily in your camera bag and takes up minimal space. It comes with a transmitter and receiver, 2 USB-C charging cables, a hot shoe mount and camera cable, a phone cable to connect to a mobile phone and an included microphone. it comes pre-loaded and ready to use out of the box. with a built in gate to eliminate spikes and also with multiple channels if there are electronics that cause high frequency interference. This little device is great when you're doing interviews and want to get rid of long cables as you can connect the gun mic directly to the transmitter and wirelessly send the signal to the camera or attach the trap directly to the Talent as it's so small it's very is easy to hide. The DAC converters on these devices are pretty clean and sound better than most iPhone Lav mics that you can also buy for this price. If you're used to recording on your phone, it will greatly improve your quality. I've only used it in controlled environments so I can't say if there's any audio dropouts, but in my case it works fine. The power button on the side doubles as a mute button and is very easy to accidentally press. So be careful. The screen is bright and easy to read indoors, haven't tested it outdoors yet, but the noise floor is pretty low. The build quality is plastic and you will hear a lot of contact noise when using the built-in microphone, so I recommend attaching a camera microphone or microphone to it for the best possible sound quality. All in all, for the price you can't get a better wireless mic system than this, spend the difference and get a decent mic to plug in and eliminate long cables. I think this is the best feature of this kit. I would recommend this kit if you are on a budget and looking to improve your sound quality.
