First of all, Palmer's Cleansing Balm is great for cleansing my face and neck when I'm not wearing makeup. But to my surprise, when I was wearing anti-smear and eye makeup, I couldn't remove the makeup with just the cleansing balm, which I had to use with micellar water. I've used another brand of cleansing balm that I like better, the Pond Cleansing Balm, and it was effective at removing makeup. But I don't often wear makeup, so Palmer's cleansing balm is a little thicker and moisturizing. I use it to wash my face morning and night when I'm not wearing makeup. Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin which is a plus.
