I was hoping to replace the cleansing oil with the cleansing balm for easier travel. Traveling with a cleansing oil. fat lol. I have used this several times as directed. It's very difficult to rinse off, so I feel like I'm rubbing my face harder with a towel when I dry myself. The best way to describe it is washing your face with petroleum jelly. It hydrates you but I can't confirm it removes makeup as I don't wear it.

I love this product! It is not too fragrant and is very convenient to use. It's quite a small container but I hardly ever use it to cleanse my face, it melts when you pick it up so it's really easy to spread. It is also excellent for gently removing eye make-up. I use a rag to wipe it off my face, which works well too. Leaves a feeling of moisture.

EDIT: Something has definitely changed about this product, all it did was my skin was severely dehydrated and I just didn't realize I was getting comfortable with mine Cetaphil body moisturizer had all gone I don't know what they did but it's not the same I will never buy again. What's not to like about Palmer's. I use most of their products everyday, I absolutely love this one and basically all of their cocoa butter and coconut products absolutely love them.

Since this thing emulsifies in water, it rinses off nicely without drying my skin, leaving my face feeling soft, and it helps so much when my skin is going crazy from the over-exfoliating mistake I made before.
