There is a horrible latex/rubber smell. It's pretty strong. I let the boots sit out for 2 weeks and my son (9 yr old) still complained of the smell. It’s relatively comfortable and easy to store , my only real complaint is it does not lock into place completely at certain positions so if. Your not careful. You lean back alittle and it will slowly release and proceed to extend more. I wasn't expecting the finest in blazers, it's a third party vendor through revain for cheap. Fine by me I tend to have bad luck with designer clothes so I was okay with all that. Size wasn't quiet right, ordered up since my usual clothes aren't fitting but turns out was too big. The biggest surprise though was how thin and non flattering the material actual was. We used these at my daughter's wedding reception to supplement the "light swords" we used for the "light saber salute" as they departed. We brought them out a little early and people brought them to the dance floor. They were quite a hit! Was kind of hesitant about getting something like this but my toddler likes to bolt. I mainly use it when I'm in very crowded areas where he could get lost.
