Review on Sweese 3151 Large Butter: Unveiling the Improved Version of a Classic Essential by David Bott

Revainrating 5 out of 5

They read the reviews and completely improved their product; now it's perfect.

This company, after reading reviews of their original product, modified the product to make it better. I just got a new one with a beech lid (the previous lid was cork and had some imperfections) and now it seems perfect. It looks great, holds two regular oil packs with enough room for more if you want it, and is heavy enough that you don't have to hold it when you're getting the oil out. The lid fits snugly into the white porcelain container but is easy to remove to get the oil out. It has a silicone insert that is easy to remove and replace and will last forever if handled with care. The container has rounded internal contours for easy cleaning/drying and is dishwasher safe. The top is smooth, beautiful beech wood that needs to be hand washed and dried. I always oil the tree with olive oil to keep it happy. I leave mine on the counter so the oil doesn't get rock hard and also because it looks good and is comfortable. I've tried a few other oil holders and they've always been too brittle, too small, too short, too steep, or made of plastic which I think seeps into the product. This solves all these problems.
