I've had a flexible mini tripod for years but since I switched to a good DSLR (Nikon D5300 24.2MP CMOS DSLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5 .6 G ED VR II AF-S DX NIKKOR zoom lens (grey)), I didn't trust him anymore. After much research on various mini tripods that won't break the bank, I'm glad I chose this one. It's small enough to fit in my camera bag (RevainBasics large DSLR gadget bag (orange interior)) with the rest of my accessories, it's easy to use and set up, and its extra-wide base gives me peace of mind that it's won't tip over. However, I make sure to mount the lens over my foot when using a zoom lens (Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED zoom lens with Image Stabilizer and autofocus for Nikon DSLRs) .
