Not perfect, but ok

Well made table tripod. I don't like legs that much. I figured it would stand taller or be a nice touch if it locks in place so you can put your feet in multiple positions rather than being fully extended. The tripod with the legs fully locked sits about an inch above the table, and then you have another inch and 1/2 to the top of the tripod. The ball head works well. Good quality product just not sure if it is what I was hoping for. The legs stay firmly in place when not fully extended, but it

Pros
  • Very good price-performance ratio
Cons
  • Slightly torn

More like a camera tripod than a tripod, but works great.

Nice little stand. I bought it after watching a tutorial video on my Nikon D810 and the presenter used this tripod to hold the camera during the demo. I liked the idea of being able to mount the camera on a table (on this tripod) and adjust settings, flip it, etc. As a bonus, this is a great little tripod to take with me on trips when I don't want to have a real one take a tripod with you. I can mount it on a table, floor, or wall and get many of the benefits of a full-size tripod without…

Amazing Budget Mini Tripod

I've had a flexible mini tripod for years but since I switched to a good DSLR (Nikon D5300 24.2MP CMOS DSLR with 18-55mm f/3.5-5 .6 G ED VR II AF-S DX NIKKOR zoom lens (grey)), I didn't trust him anymore. After much research on various mini tripods that won't break the bank, I'm glad I chose this one. It's small enough to fit in my camera bag (RevainBasics large DSLR gadget bag (orange interior)) with the rest of my accessories, it's easy to use and set up, and its extra-wide base gives me…

If you say it has a ball head, GIVE ME THE BALL HEAD!

First of all, I love Oben tripods. But the reason I bought this mini was because I bought the full size which had to have an extra part to allow for a low angle/height. Bought used but didn't expect any problems. He came and I found he had no extra piece as was clearly stated. Revane was very accommodating and refunded me in full and left me with the tripod; very kind of you. I then took that return and bought this mini tripod for low altitude use. According to the description, a ball head is…

GREAT and durable tripod exceeds reference rating

WOW! After purchasing a Pedco Ultrapod Grip table tripod, which I returned after realizing how unstable and flimsy it was and even withstanding half the safe weight it was rated for, this Oben TT-100 is at the other end of the spectrum of strength. I added a Desmond DAC-38 clamp, which added another $19 to the price and only slightly added bulk to the tripod, but what I got in return was a fantastic compact tripod. Previously rated at 6kg. Equipment he could carry 7.1 pounds. Nikon D7100 with…

Ideal for Celestron Ultima 80mm

Exactly what I was hoping to find for my Celestron Ultima 80mm spotting scope. Although the telescopic tripod that comes with the scope is very good, I wanted to be able to use the scope on the table for shooting. This table tripod (Model #TT-100) is just the ticket! This model doesn't have a retractable/extendable neck like the TT-200 or TT-300, but that's fine. I've tried different positions, the tripod doesn't tip over with the visor on! However, it's probably best to mount one of the legs…

WOW! After purchasing the Pedco Ultrapod Grip table tripod which I returned after realizing how unstable and flimsy it was, this top TT even held half the safe Weight it was rated for -100 I added a Desmond DAC-38 clamp which added another $19 to the price and just made the tripod a little bulkier, but what I got in return was a fantastic compact Tripod rated for 6 lb gear and could handle 7.1 lb Nikon D7100 with battery grip + 70-200 Nikkor VR lens + SB800 flash with no issues with lens in…

Good Little Tripod is the best of tripods and monopods

Took this little one to the wedding. It's lightweight and looks stylish. It's very simple, just a ball head on three legs. The legs feel like steel but aren't very heavy. I think the Oben range of tabletop tripods is underrated, not many people know about them. I used it during my wedding. Placed my cousin's camcorder on the floor with this thing on while filming the video with my cam. It worked! Easily holds my Panasonic GX1 (compact system camera). It also fits a DSLR like the Nikon D40 with…

Love it - sturdy and low!

I've had several mini tripods, but none came close to "pro-level". This is by far the best I've had and the included ball head is very good too. Tripod Legs: The wide leg spacing is nice because it keeps the tripod head fairly low (I think the ball head is about 4 inches off the ground when the legs are spread) and maintains a good center of gravity that doesn't tip over. The splaying of the legs also means you can't get them in the frame if you're using an ultra-wide lens (I had this issue a…
