This is Art Nouveau with bows (assuming I'm 54) and I'll probably play around with them more than I'd like to get them looking right. The fabric is a thicker acetate, which is a bit traditional for the time, but this allows the bows to lie flat and the dress makes noise when you move it, so expect that. (Especially if you're wearing a petticoat - noisy.) I'm short/ medium sized and glad I ordered the medium. I have a small chest so I had to tighten the straps and dig the knots into my shoulders a bit. (Again, heavier fabric isn't great.) The pockets are good and overall the fit seems good and the plaid is ALMOST even. (Close enough in price.) Not sure how I would wear a sweater/lightweight bag with it because of the loops. (The photos on the listing always look perfect.) I just need a special occasion to wear this because... those bows. In general I am very satisfied.
