I ordered these for my apartment and the first one held up pretty good since I used my whole body weight to press it to the wall when I added the adhesive, the second one I tried with minimum strength and it could barely hold a pound. I’m moving now and tried removing both of them as instructed on the instructions and it removed the paint of the wall, leaving holes the length of the shelf (even on the one that wasn’t stuck all that well to the wall). I’d just go with shelves you’ve got to mount, since you’d just have to fill the tiny screw holes instead of patching a good sized chunk of the wall. Not worth it at all.
