I didn't even turn this unit on so I'll leave comments to others on picture quality. Here are some practical considerations: 1. On my 32" unit, the input jacks are to the right of the VESA mounting area, not below. The configuration is the same as in the pictures, only rotated and moved vertically. This may affect your mounting options. On smaller devices, the input jacks are located as shown in the photos. In both cases, the input jacks point straight back (not down). This is either good or bad depending on your preferences. 2. The power cord is really odd - it's only 1.5m long overall, with a barrel connector on one end for a TV and a 19V DC wall transformer on the other. It's not long enough. The wall wart is blocking other outlets. Why couldn't they use a standard power supply? an adapter with a regular C13 or C5 connector, like any other monitor and TV? This allowed us to easily select the right length of power cord for the right location without the wasteful, stupid, useless wall wart. Now I need to buy a power supply with a sufficiently long cable.3. Even if you don't use a stand and use VESA mounts, the stand mount will protrude 1.25" from the back of the monitor. For most traditional VESA mounts, this isn't a problem unless you want to mount the TV flush to the wall , which you can't do since the thing sticks out. And you can't flush mount this unit unless you have a recessed insert behind it, since the cables stick right out. 4. The instruction manual isn't great, but it shows what to expect Cables not actually included (only short HDMI cable is included) and does not include VESA mount information (screws are spaced 100mm x 100mm) Install VESA mount without spacers.
