Review on SHANY Cosmetics Blowdryer Straightener Holster by Brenda Joiner

I really want to like this item for the way it looks and feels, but I CANNOT! The product looks really cool and unique with its color and useful properties. But when I first received the item, the center retaining plate is scratched and the base looks poorly assembled. Worse, there are no instructions for all of the screws holding it to the granite base. Replaced but no instructions, no factory packaging, poorly glued base (Chinese newspaper still attached) and one of the base screws broken. Yes, it looks fashionable, heavy and comfortable, but bad product design. For your information - box and instructions are part of the product!
