I love this padded vest. my height is 5 feet 6 inches; 135 pounds 36c with a "mature" build and slightly broad shoulders. I hesitate between ordering medium and large items. This medium sized vest fits perfectly. I like that it's a little roomy on me, but if you like a tighter fit you might want to try a size smaller. I wear it with t-shirts, nothing bulky. The spring-autumn version is good, especially for the south. I like that it's not so fluffy, which puts extra stress on my body. With broader shoulders, some cutouts make me look wider, but this one makes me slimmer. It's also the perfect length for me, some of the ones I've tried are very short. It hits under my hip bones for weight loss. Seams line up at the sides for a larger look. The sleeves are roomy but not too big. This is perfect when I'd rather have something on my arms than a baggy vest. I wish the sleeves were a bit longer and hit the chest so the shoulders and torso appear broader, but if you have narrow shoulders this would probably be perfect. I bought black. I like the zipper in the color of the metallic cannon zipper. I only wear gold jewelry and have vetoed a few because of the silver zippers. Large pockets are lined with fleece but in the side seam for a slimmer effect. The downside is that the inside pocket of the vest closes with a small tongue. I hand stitched it to the inner layer (which also made the inner pocket) so it wouldn't snag on things as I move around the house (e.g. cabinet handles) when undone. This vest is suitable for everyday wear as well as for the office. I would like dark gray or dark blue.
