Loop is convenient for attaching Apple Pencil 2 to the Smart Keyboard case for 12.9 inch iPad Pro 2018. The pen is much more secure than when it would only be attached with an edge magnet; It's not super tight, but will hold up with normal use. It can be pushed out of the loop if squeezed into a full pack, but it's the same as any other loop and can be avoided with reasonable care. I didn't notice any markings on the stylus and it doesn't interfere with the keyboard/stand or the iPad's attachment to the cover. I attached the loop to the inside back of the folio; The pencil can still be attached to the rim magnet for added security and charging (see photo). The pencil has some wear on one end but appears to be in good working order. The loop should be off-center and held about a third of the way to the end so it doesn't interfere with the loading process. The adhesive loop is strong. Try a few positions with a pencil and an iPad to make sure they line up before peeling and sticking. Also, make sure the hinge is facing the iPad so the stylus sticks to the magnetic edge instead of sticking out. In terms of cost, there may be cheaper options, but I'd only pay $6 knowing it. one works
