I have owned several Miir mugs over the years and the company has continually improved their design and product quality. I currently have this, my latest purchase, as well as an 8 ounce black jar with a clear lid. What I like about this glass is its size and weight, as well as its tightness. I have a Stanley single-handled vacuum-sealed mug that is good, but one of its downsides is that the lid has so many parts. Eventually I stopped using it because there were so many small items to wash at night that it might not seem like such a big deal, but I currently work full time and go to school part time so it's nice to find ways to shorten the preparation time the evenings before bedtime. Another downside to the Stanley jar is that if you lose one of these pieces, you'll end up with a lid that will no longer function properly. The Miir jar has a very simple and uncomplicated lid (picture). It is not multi-part, which allows you to clean the entire glass relatively quickly. Another benefit is the size of this product, which is significantly smaller than Stanley's (image of two side by side attached for reference). Both my Miir Glass and Stanley Glass are 12 ounce options each. Miir also sells lids for these jars directly on their website as they fit other wide-mouthed utensils, which also makes them conveniently accessible when you need to change the lid. The Miir mug is also comfortable to hold and the black powder coating gives a great finish and texture. NOTE ABOUT STICKERS: These stickers do not come with the mug.
