Photoshopped advertising images, classic fake advertising. The actual flames in the picture are not a true representation of what the bulbs look like, the colors are not a true representation of what the bulbs look like. However, I knew this was happening and the lights look and work great. Just don't expect it to look like a real fire like the picture. 4 modes work, it really changes direction when you turn the bulb upside down, it doesn't get hot, the random patterns get the flame moving and great value for money. I will be buying more for a Halloween project.
