For outdoor reading in sunlight. They are really pretty and comfortable. Very large stable frame and well tinted glass. Clarity is great! It's not the kind of silly little sections that drive me nuts. You are not for running! They are a must if you want to read a book outside in the sun! If you're looking for a type that looks more like traditional reading glasses than bifocals with a small built-in section, this is the one for you. Sorry for the closeup. I showed the lens up close to see the frame. The end result is a dumb photo.
