This is the best shaving soap I have ever used. This was a backorder, my original stock ran out. I experimented a lot to find the best shaving product. This soap combined with a good double edge safety razor (I use the Parker 99R Butterfly) and a good blade (I like Derby Extra) gives the best shave I have ever seen. However, with this soap you will shave better, even if you use a injector razor or even a good 3-blade disposable razor. This soap is way better than canned shaving cream. It stays on the face and creates a nice smooth lubricating layer that is necessary for a close shave. The soap also has a pleasant smell. Aside from the smell, I didn't notice any difference between this and other Col shaving soaps. Cucumber.
