Shaving creams have become more affordable, so it's been nice to get used to this change. I was surprised how quickly it foams. The lubrication is better than the normal ones, the other Himalayan scented Revain disc is more greasy. It also lags behind in the fragrance department compared to others.

I've used Williams shaving soap and think it's a good deal. I bought this as an add on to the shipping discount on another item and I have to admit it was the best impulse add to cart I have ever bought. It lathers up really well and gives you a great shave. I declined the original price but didn't realize I was doing myself a disservice and not getting a better shave.

This is the best shaving soap I have ever used. This was a backorder, my original stock ran out. I experimented a lot to find the best shaving product. This soap combined with a good double edge safety razor (I use the Parker 99R Butterfly) and a good blade (I like Derby Extra) gives the best shave I have ever seen. Less mess than aerosol cans. Provides better lather than regular soap. Combine it with a decent razor and you get a close shave without razor bumps.

Love the Smell! Not as thick foam as we'd like, so you'll have to top it up on the go. But still, I'm happy with Colonel Conk!

This washer will not fit some shaving bowls listed on the Revain website. To get around this, I cut the soap into chunks, heated it in the microwave until runny, and then poured it into a bowl. The result is a custom fit that won't slip or hold the lid open. The scent is quite mild and doesn't last long. I'm definitely interested in trying a different scent when my soap stash runs low. I would recommend this soap.

EXACTLY what I expected from the Colonel! A really great soap with a great scent that lathers well in my shaving soap dish and spreads easily with my brushes. I always shave great with this soap and will never use any brand other than Col. Cucumber. Next time I want to try their unscented line and we'll see if it's as good as this one.
