Bought these to use with the mask. I wear a hearing aid. Face masks with ear loops tend to snag and detach the hearing aid. Using thin paracord and one of the zip ties I was able to make an extra loop for the neck/neck. This allows me to tighten the paracord tightly to hold the mask in place. It also allows me to pull the mask down to expose my nose and mouth and quickly reposition myself if necessary. Check out the picture of how I use these cord locks with face masks. Also, I added small snap clips to make it easier to attach/remove the paracord from a used face mask.
