You're definitely paying for convenience. We did all 400 and a few at once and the kids loved it. Balloons didn't pop as easily when thrown at someone. However, the kids quickly found that they could throw at each other's feet and use balloons as a kind of water gun. We plan to use plastic parts and build a sprinkler, hopefully this will help me get a feel for how much money we spent on something that took about 15 minutes lol.
