I wore Converse All Stars in high school but switched to PF Flyers as an adult after discovering how comfortable they were. Lately, due to the pandemic, they've been (presumably) either sold out or absurdly overpriced. So I did some research and found out that Lugz now makes trendy sneakers at a very cheap price and the sizes of the products are comparable, so I decided to try them. At this point it can be concluded that the canvas is much stiffer than other brands of vintage basketball shoes. , the sole is thicker than other brands. Chuck Taylors feel like you're walking on the floor, but these feel like you're walking in much more modern sneakers. Another problem that comes with other vintage sneakers is that the tongue tends to turn sideways and be uncomfortable, but they have a slit on the tongue to prevent this. My only criticism is that they look pretty standard, I mean all these sneaker styles look the same but they lack any glare. A splash of red or a decorative patch would have made them a little more stylish. Otherwise I would definitely buy them again.
