Look. I'd rather post this anonymously, but since I'm so concerned and concerned I'll just post this. I loved these cameras when I first got them. Works great, love the portability, have recommended it to friends. BUT. I've noticed strange things happening on my router. Now I'm not an IT professional. And if not? Chances are, you're not just logging into the router logs for fun to see what's going on. I'm just a little curious by nature I guess. Find out with the help of IT at Work, THIS CAMERA / APP ALLOWS you to attack DoS directly on your WiFi. What does that mean? I did not know this either. Apparently people can access all your connected devices and watch your cameras (luckily mine are outside and only occasionally see an Amazon package or a raccoon at night). SO. I had to change all my passwords and was helped to confirm that the apps/cameras themselves do indeed allow these DoS hotspots. Maybe you don't care because you want to watch your kid and dog at home comfortably. That's cool. I understand. But personally, I don't want a coordinated international observation post in my house. I understand that we don't have privacy, but I don't want to reveal what little I have, even through the items I've bought to keep my home private. This is complete nonsense. (I said "amazing" because I'd rather you read the review and not be distracted by my swearing if it offends you, although a HUGE swearing is warranted). Thanks for reading my Ted Talk on invasion of privacy (but seriously. Are you multiplying that by the number of us you have? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but it's a seriously disturbing reality when you think about it ).
