I was a little apprehensive at first when taking this drone out of the box as it felt incredibly light. I quickly read the instructions, charged the battery and attempted the first flight, which went well. I was impressed with how well it held altitude, but I didn't get to grips with the flight controls until the next day, so I wouldn't say the instructions were easy. After figuring out some flight control options, I liked the altitude hold feature. I used to have a drone that could carry a Go Pro and had full manual flight controls. My main issue with this old drone was that I had to fly very carefully to get a decent photo and it was difficult to maintain altitude. The next day I figured out the manual flight controls, which turned out to be quite easy. This new drone flew great and I didn't have to worry about altitude all the time and it made flying so much easier. I still need to figure out a few things on how to capture higher resolution video. Phone recording works. Initial battery life seemed very promising, I received two batteries with my specific order. It also came with a metal case and the case is fine, but it's plastic. My first shots seem better than my old drone, but not as good as the very expensive drones I've seen from my friends' drone. I have yet to figure out how to fly GPS waypoints, which should help. So far I'm happy with my purchase.
