If your kids are fashion loving and creative, this would be a good gift. My only complaint/warning: All parts have magnets glued to the back. The tiny shoe sets that came with this set went straight in the trash as I was concerned my daughters might choke on them while I wasn't looking. The shoes were about the size of a large highlight but even without the shoes in this set my two daughters enjoyed playing with this set and it typically held their attention for 15-20 minutes. It was nice that there were 2 girls to dress up and lots of outfits to try on including dresses, swimwear, pants/shirt/sweater etc. This was something I kept in the pantry (so nothing ever got lost) and it got when I needed her to sit at the table for 15-20 minutes while I was cooking dinner and it helped.
