Good bag at a good price but not durable

I like a lot about this bag. I have it in several sizes: Large is closer to the size of a large duffel bag, X-Large is the size of many hockey bags. It has side pockets for shoes or boots or things you want to separate from the main compartment. It's got a small external pocket you can slip cards or documents in, and when it's open on the XL it fits a trainer's tablet pretty snugly. Has a foldable carry bag that can be used separately. It has shoulder straps that go to the other side, good zippers and quality stitching. It is quite durable and can withstand normal wear and tear. The only downside is that it's not indestructible. Airplanes and sharp skates can cut through nylon fabric. I was very happy with the performance for what it is. That being said, I'm still looking for the holy grail of bags to protect my backpack from airlines when traveling. I thought I had it in XL. After seeing the mistreatment of this bag in their hands, I can only imagine how many straps and buckles I would have had to replace if I hadn't had it as my backpack's first layer of protection. If I have to buy one of these every few years to protect my backpack, I still think it's a good investment. In the meantime, let me know if you find anything more permanent.
