First attempt to order a Hippo board: I ordered a certified update board 10x10 which is said to be covered by a guarantee. It arrived broken. sent back. Second attempt: I ordered a new black felt board for letters 10x10. He was grey. sent back. Third attempt: I ordered a new set of 10x10 panels. It was gray too, although both boxes indicated the color of the circuit board inside was black. I also sent it back. Fourth try: I ordered a 12x12 board that is black on one side and gray on the other (trying to trick the system lol). It arrived. It is excellent. He's not broken. It really is black on one side and gray on the other. But the box lacks the small scissors needed to trim the excess plastic from the letters. I tried emailing info@littlehippo.com as per the note "Thank you, please leave a good review" that was in the box. Letter was returned undeliverable. At this point I am INCREDIBLY upset. I'm sorry but I suggest buying from another company. It's just not worth the drama.
