This hat is lovely! It's well made, stitching inside is very good, the felt material is soft and of good quality. In person, it looks just as stylish as it appears in the photos. As for the packaging, it comes secured in plastic wrap along with another thick plastic insert/protector that maintains the shape of the hat. There's no worry that the hat would ever get crumpled, in fact, I would even save the thick plastic piece that came inside to keep the shape. My only disappointment is that the hat is too small for me, so much so that it just sits atop my head. I don't want my hat to fit like a fascinator. lol. I ordered the medium because I saw where someone stated that the hat was big. It is not! Now, I will have to return it and perhaps order the Large or Xlarge.
