LOOK under your car to see if you have room for it and clearance to rotate to install before purchasing. My Kia Soul fits in well because the drain hole faces the rear of the car instead of straight down, and there's plenty of clearance. The valve knob will click and lock so it will not turn until you PUSH DOWN and then turn. This means it won't open accidentally. It is made of solid metal. The only difficulty with the installation is unscrewing the OLD drain plug. Those oil change spots make them really HEAVY. I'm not expecting to save money by changing the oil myself, but at least I know the oil was ACTUALLY changed because I did it myself.
