I haven't had much luck with the neat cat breeze system on our fatter, older cat. She tends to have a lot of liquid waste and a thin wind cushion was not good. She's also a little dirty, probably because she's having a harder time getting in and out of the litter box. I wanted something that would help cover up the mess and some of the smell and possibly blend in with the decor. I came across this one and it seemed like just the ticket. After a quick delivery, the first one was damaged but repaired and a new one sent (keep the box just in case!). After that I got a replacement (also fast delivery). I've considered other reviewers' suggestions for assembly. I think they updated the instructions as there are now two separate patterns depending on which side you want the entry/exit hole on. The weird thing is that this time they didn't call her "left" or "right". So it was not yet clear in which direction to go. My suggestion that I did was to just look at the parts and compare them to the picture of the finished product. A little logic goes a long way! Remember that all curved parts are facing down and all sides with stickers are facing in/in (except for the bottom and metal leg holes, which are facing down/out). ) Once the orientation was figured out, assembly was easy. The only tool required is a Phillips screwdriver. The hardest part was attaching the hinges with small screws. As another reviewer mentioned, the legs have a protective plastic cap on the screws so they also need to be removed (it should have been in the instructions from the start). Earth. The color I bought was mocha walnut and it was hard to tell what the rest of the color was when I ordered it. It is actually a dark gray color with walnut colored doors (see photos of color samples for comparison - they appear lighter in photo than in photo). I also took into account the feedback on the leak and tried to find a way to prevent this. My cat hasn't used it yet so I can update this review. We keep our fingers crossed.
