Review on LilGadgets Connect Kids Premium Volume Limited Wired Headphones With SharePort And Inline Microphone (Children by Chris Santos

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Bought for the first child and came for another set for another.

I bought the first pair for a boy when he was only 2 years old and now I'm buying another pair for a girl who will soon be 2 years old. Ideal for a 2 year old head with the possibility of expansion. After all, they're small at that age and growing as fast as my belt these days. As an ex-pat worker, I have to drag my family around the world twice a year to talk to the elderly. It makes being in an aluminum tube [sic-UK :P] for 14 hours with very young children a lot more bearable. The fit is comfortable and the boy can wear it for a long time on the plane. The noise level is reduced, but in the end that's what you need. Yes, it can be hard to hear on a plane, but planes are a noisy place after all. Nagging about the lack of volume in this situation defeats the whole purpose of these headphones, which is to reduce acoustic impact. He's enjoying the on-screen action and laughing hysterically at Shaun the Sheep while everyone else is trying to sleep anyway. At home, he can happily steal my tablet and ride his Duplo train or do toca-boca business without the family having to endure a cacophony of fast-paced sound effects. The best feature, in my opinion, is the long material-coated cable for extra durability and the standard 3.5. mm headphone jack at each end. Not only does that mean that if one of the little horrors gets caught on the cord, they'll pull them out of the headphones (rather than yanking their necks and choking them). If the cable eventually breaks beyond repair (I think there's still a long way to go anyway) you can just find/make another cheap standard cable with a 3.5mm headphone jack on each end and you don't have to buy a whole new set "Phones". The ability to connect from either side and connect to a different pair of headphones is also a great feature, so you can share the adventures of Captain Barnacle, Quasi and Peso as they explore, rescue and (yet again) rescue your adorable offspring. to protect . And when he finally goes to bed about 30 minutes before he's scheduled to land (and I have to carry him and our luggage through passport control because the airline/airport only takes your stroller to the baggage carousel!), it's easy to put him in a pack Small bag that is definitely worth the money. Don't forget to buy a cheap $2 headphone adapter on eBay with free shipping from China.
