Burning too fast
They burn too fast and are therefore useless unless you want to make very small three-wick candles. I think if this is user error make sure you know what you are doing and choose the right type of wick for your application. (Attached is a photo of the size of the candle I needed 3 wicks for, with handles for size reference.)
