Chemical Odor - Dinnerware and Serving Utensils

They cannot be used for edible sauces because of the horrible chemical smell they have. I tried soaking overnight with baking soda, dish soap, and bleach but nothing worked. I either have to throw them away or use them for non-food purposes.
