Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Home Audio with the Pyle PFA330BT Wireless Bluetooth Home Audio Amplifier - 90W Dual Channel Mini Portable Power Stereo Sound Receiver by Jill Jones

Revainrating 1 out of 5

That's enough for my stereo system in the garage.

Not sure if I should give two or three stars. I wasn't expecting much but it seems I was expecting more. Let's start with the good news: Bluetooth seems to connect consistently with all the devices I've tried connecting to. Not the strongest connection, but good enough. assembly of decent quality; although the case is metal, but thin. Connections are simple and effective. I used RCA inputs for CD and cassette players and a 3.5mm audio jack with RCA adapter. The front panel AUX input is handy for connecting other non-Bluetooth audio sources directly. The cons are likely to be a hurdle for those looking for quality sound, but you can't spend less than $50 on a power amp. The biggest critic is the "EQ" section. There really isn't much good to say here. There are no proper bass and treble controls like there is on a stereo system. They're more like filter pass controls, like a guitar. You can set an acceptable equalizer that doesn't sound too muffled or boomy. I find it sounds best when playing a CD or cassette, streaming audio from apps via Bluetooth sounds a bit flat. The output volume is acceptable for its size and what I use it for, but it seems to lack headroom as it distorts at high levels. I use high quality PSB speakers and an infinity subwoofer, the speakers work well. This unit will sustain me until I find a better replacement. I really miss my old component system.
