Damn, as soon as I opened the package in the mailbox I saw that this is a cut above what is available on the shelves at the AP store. To be fair this may have something to do with patchy offerings lately - but I don't think so - they're just solid compared to what I saw in store yesterday. I will replace the butt connector they had with heat shrink but that is a personal choice and has nothing to do with the original construction or design. Oh, I also noticed that their butt connector terminals weren't just crimped, they were soldered too! Buy them - they definitely won't be the "weak link" in your system. The pun is fully conceived.
