I have been working with UV resin to make jewelry for many years and this resin is my favorite topcoat. It bonds well with other UV resins, and the fact that it has a low viscosity means it cures nicely and is bubble-free (thicker polymers contain bubbles which burst during cure and damage the surface). It's low viscosity means it cures more slowly than other UV resins, which is good for a top coat as it means less buckling and shrinkage and fewer blisters. I also use heat (lighter or small flashlight) to loosen stuck blisters before placing them under a curing lamp. However, this resin doesn't like frames (many UV resins don't because the UVs don't reach the bottom of the frame to fully cure the resin) so I use a faster curing resin that works better, it's frame for the base and then coat it with a thin layer of this resin, it gives a nice hard finish with no bubbles. I use the Melody Susie 36W UV Nail Dryer and it works like a champ (I actually use 3 of these for my jewelry shop). The negative reviews on this product seem to come from people who don't have much experience with UV resin and are most likely using the wrong lamps (and it sounds like they may not be following the instructions on this list). After seeing all the negative reviews for the amount you get I weighed it and it actually weighed over 250g.
