I bought this pink shirt for my short haired house cat who has trouble with grooming. She tends to lick the fur off her neck/chest. When I put it on her for the first time it fit perfectly. I bought the large one as it weighs about 8 pounds. It is neither too tight nor too loose in the body. However, the sleeves are a little long and loose, and in the middle of the night she got tangled up in them and fell heavily off my bed. I contacted the seller and they were kind enough to refund my money. I decided to cut off the sleeves and now the shirt really works. I ordered a dark gray shirt so you can wash the other one. Unfortunately, the gray shirt is a different size than the pink one and it can get tangled up and turn inside out even with the sleeves cut off. I recommend this item in pink, not grey.
