Don't waste your money! This is a stationary table lamp with a rechargeable battery and will NOT work properly when connected to the mains! It MUST be fully charged and turned off to work. I bought it for late nights at work and found that it had to be charged and unplugged before use. When it's on, when connected to the network, it's very dim, and then surprises you with repeated bright flashes of light. It seems to work better when unplugged, although it's still dim (no brighter than a 10 watt bulb), but it won't last for a full shift, making it unusable for my desk lamp. I mean who really needs a stationary table lamp with battery/rechargeable battery, that makes absolutely no sense to me. Who comes up with these ideas? A simple plug and play system works best for this type of device. Go ahead and don't waste your money.
