This monitor is light, thin and bright. The image quality is high and I am pleased that when my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad X1) is turned on directly, it is quite bright and clear. I also appreciate that it comes with a variety of cables; I used a USB-C to USB-C connection. The order in which the cables are connected is important, but it's easy to figure out. First I have to plug the USB-C cable into the laptop, then into the Z-Edge monitor and it turns on and remembers the previous settings and configurations - this works about 80% of the time; at times the screen flickers and stays blank - as if it hadn't quite established the connection yet. This is easily fixed by unplugging the USB-C cable from the monitor and plugging it back in. The monitor has speakers and the sound is about the same as a mid-range laptop ("good" sound; not great, but certainly loud enough to be heard). The foldable magnetic case is suitable as a suitcase and partially as a monitor stand. I bought a separate portable metal stand along with the monitor. Overall very happy with the purchase.
