I recently bought a cooker hood and shortly thereafter the light bulb it was running in blew out. I bought a replacement set of ten bulbs and figured I'd be fine for a while. I changed the bulb every 9-12 months. I thought, okay, this is a hot, stressful environment for a lightbulb, so it's not uncommon for it to fail quickly. However, this worried me about the wiring, so I was reluctant to buy an expensive LED light bulb, only to have it wear out and die quickly. Driving lightbulbs there, I bought one of these for one of the outlets to try and used the rest of the bulbs in another outlet. Five years have passed and the LED lamp is still working. However, I had the last bulb left, so I went back to buy another one. The hassle of changing bulbs alone is worth the money. (The bulbs are flush mounted so I have to use tape to unscrew them without taking the cap apart.) Hopefully their 22 year lifespan is equivalent and the old bulb has 17 years left. She's bright enough. . They say 40 watt equivalent, which seems right, maybe a little low. My range hood with two bulbs gives enough light for the stove. The translucent screen instead of transparent makes it less bright than my other bulbs but still bright enough. It is a very warm color with no bluish tinge. Your measurement of 2700k seems accurate.
