GOOD: Convenient, Convenient, Works Very Well, Durable - NO WORRY MISS: ***UPDATE*** I was whining about the price when I first bought this. Having used this belt LOTS over the last 6 months, I can safely say THIS BELT IS WORTH IT'S GOLD! OTHER SOLUTIONS I'VE USED: Neck straps with extra padding and pockets. BELT EXPERIENCE: As someone who makes a living from photography gear, this was a welcome addition to my collection. I shot four weddings last month with my D800 with a Nikon battery grip, mainly with a heavy Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8G ED glass and an SB-700 flash. This combination is heavy, especially when worn for more than 10 hours. The Rapid Strap distributed the weight perfectly across my shoulder and was really comfortable. It was extremely easy to pick up the camera quickly and lie comfortably next to me between shots. It will remain permanently attached to my gear. ***UPDATE*** NEGATIVE FEEDBACK: I was apprehensive about this purchase due to the number of complaints about the strap "detaching" from the camera. Having received and fastened the strap I am pleased to report that a very flexible silicone rubber washer is attached to the bolt which actually grips both surfaces when tightened. It has been SIX MONTHS since I attached the strap to my D800 and it has not come loose. IT DID NOT EVEN MIX - AND I CHECK IT EVERY TIME IT IS REMOVED FROM MY BOX. ***UPDATED CONCLUSION***: The essence of this strap to me is three things. 1. Can I trust him to hold my gear without fear of it coming loose and causing me to call my insurance company? Yes of course. He has proven himself.2. Does it make my job easier? YES - oh my god yes! 3. Is it convenient? Absolutely unbeatable! I highly recommend this harness!
