I used to have a Hamilton Beach blender with a durable plastic handle (although the blades were metal). I once made a mistake because I was in a hurry to blend a still very hot vegetable soup right after it was cooked and when I took the blender out of the pot, the plastic at the bottom of the blender was completely deformed. Although the blender was still usable, I was very disappointed and couldn't put it in the case that came with it due to deformation. I hated how it looked now and the leftovers baked in plastic. Bottom line, I needed a replacement. I knew the new blender would be all metal, so even if I blend a very hot soup or something, it's not going to melt and deform. I found this Isiler hand blender at a great price and with great accessories. I received it quickly and started using it straight away; It didn't disappoint - the power is strong and all the accessories work except for the whisk which I never use on any hand blender I've ever bought but don't care if it's included. I can recommend this blender, I am very satisfied with it.
