I bought this for myself as women's clothing is made for little people. I usually wear the men's XL size in Gildan T after some breaking in. These runs are great. Larger than Gildan XL. I'm careful with drying, so maybe drying it on high heat could shrink it more. Not me. The material is just the right thickness - almost the same as the heaviest t-shirt I can find which weighs 6.5 ounces. It's very soft and smooth so it looks great as an outfit shirt. It's not the type of material that creases and forms small balls, but it doesn't look like polyester either. It's a nice nice mix.
