I bought this printer as a gift for my daughter, she has a home business and she used a normal inkjet printer. That means she spends a lot of money on cartridges, as well as ribbons and paper. This postal label printer is great, you don't need to buy ink because thermal ink never runs out. It includes everything you need to get started, including 10 labels, a USB printer cable compatible with Windows and Mac systems, and a flash drive with drivers. Installs in two minutes and prints a label in seconds. Please note labels are not included with the machine. It's not a big deal, but you can use either 4" x 6" rolls (you'll need to buy a roll holder) or fan-fold labels. All in all a great printer, no need to buy ink, works on both Windows and Mac, and any mail platform USPS, FEDEX, UPS, etc. Easy to use and excellent print quality.
