I am a professional long arm quilter. When my long arm automatic bobbin winder stopped working I needed something FAST! Thank god Revane is right! I didn't want to invest a lot as I would end up having to fix the machine's winder, so I went with this winder. I use size M bobbins and I have to say they do their job well! I wind 10-20 coils on it daily. Easy to set up. It came with instructions and a nice picture on the box showed me how to set it up. It's a guard and will be good to have as a backup. The only thing I want to change is the lack of the spool winding setting as the top doesn't fill up either. Sometimes I just steer the thread higher so it fills up. Maybe if I adjust the tension I could get it to fill that spike more, but I'm fine with that. It's easy to adjust the black boxes to determine how much thread will fit in the bobbin so that it still fits in the bobbin case. I would recommend this roller as a good choice in terms of value for money!
