I use this ribbon to make small books and briefcases and it works very well for my purpose. The tape is tacky (slightly tackier than Scotch-Blue Painter's Tape but not as tacky as masking tape). It clearly peels off the back of photos (I use inkjet prints on photo paper) but when you get it on a printed image the tape doesn't peel off easily and can't be moved (it picks up ink). imprint and leave traces). Some other characteristics of the ribbon: It has a smooth, glossy, waxy finish that takes certain types of ink well (Sharpie markers and ballpoint pens - this ribbon is not suitable for gel pens), and it takes markers made with soft pencils (like Palomino Blackwings, but not suitable for normal 2HB pencils). Good tape for special applications. I would buy more if needed.
