Twelve South BookBook V2: I've had my original BookBook for many years and can't say enough about how awesome it is. I love it. I have one for my MacBook and one for my iPad and both are fantastic. So when I needed a new computer and he said it was an inch bigger than my existing one, I didn't hesitate to buy him another BookBook. After all, the one I had was pretty close. It turns out that the 16-inch MacBook is the same size as the 15-inch MacBook! I don't know how those Mac engineers do it! :-DSo BookBook V2 has a slightly thinner profile and squarer binding which I think looks great, but for the money I prefer the older rounded binding. It is more comfortable in the hand. Also, the V2 has a rubber band that I don't understand that is different than the rubber bands in the V1 that wrap around the corners of the top of the laptop. However, I wholeheartedly support Twelve South as a manufacturer of quality products. it will take.
