Not as good as advertised

I bought a Chipolo card because it advertised disconnection warnings. Split alerts are very unreliable and should not be used when necessary. When they're working, which is about 25% of the time, they're great. Otherwise the Chipolo card works as advertised. I'm using an iPhone 12 Max to test the Chipolo card. I find Tile much more reliable, but to get shared alerts you need a $2.99 subscription, which also offers detailed tracking history and free battery swaps.

Thin, loud and spacious battery!

My elderly dad has a memory problem and ALWAYS hides and loses his wallet! It's thin enough that he doesn't take it off and claims it bothers him (as he has with several other brands). It's also loud enough to be heard through piles of clothes, closets, and the like. I've tried other brands and this is the only one that seems to have a long lasting battery, loud sound and actually small thickness. The killer feature is useless in the real world

The most advertised "Notify out of range" feature doesn't work well enough to be useful. If the Bluetooth connection between the wallet card and your phone is lost, the app will be notified immediately. So it would be great if he lets you know about it so you know if you dropped your wallet somewhere or forgot it at home when you go to your car. You can turn on notification about it to receive notifications. But when I tested it, it never notified me. I check the app, it says disabled so why…
