1351 truly amazing LEGO elements.

This is my review of LEGO Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Rise of Skywalker: Millennium Falcon. In my house the whole family loves LEGO and I really love Star Wars. While most LEGO sets have recently moved towards a role-playing approach, this set strikes the perfect balance between building and playing. This is an amazing set that encourages play as well as your imagination and building. This one isn't as exciting as the $1,000 collectible, but for a fraction of the cost you can put together a work of art. Visually, the finished ship's appearance is highly detailed; There are different shades of grey, some reds, golds and blues add a pop of color to the whole thing. There are stickers to simulate some details, but most of the details are from real parts. It has a round radar dish mounted on a ball joint that connects to other joints for freedom of movement. It has two towers, one at the top and one at the bottom, also mounted on ball joints for 360 degree rotation and joints for corners. There is so much detail here that it is fascinating; It has a turret control room, your main control panel, it has a smuggler's bay, sleeping area, storage, kitchen, etc. To top it off, it has spring-loaded shooters and a loading dock to complete the illusion. I have no complaints about the structural part of this model and very few complaints about the model itself. My main criticism of the model was the loading dock as the ship's height and the size of the opening are not sufficient to accommodate the figures. That being said, what I love about LEGO is building, and with 1351 pieces you've got a whole host of LEGO awesomeness.

Pros
  • Delight fans with a true icon of the LEGO Star Wars universe, the Millennium Falcon! This starship model kit would make a great addition to any Star Wars collection.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
