Review on VIVOSUN Air Pump: Powerful 35-100W Commercial Air Pump for Aquarium and Hydroponic Systems by Pamela Bellancoutt

This pump is complex. I've had it for about a month now and it's having some issues but with some experience and skill it can do a good job for the money. Issue #1 - HOLY COW IT'S LOUD! I can hardly hear you thinking out loud. Problem #2 - The tubing that comes with the kit to attach the valve to the pump doesn't hold up very well. It's a barbed choke, and with that much pressure, it really should have a clamp. Problem #3 - You need to use one of the ten ports on the gear valve as a pressure relief, but it needs to have some form of resistance so you can flow air to the other lines. An air line with a check valve and a control valve almost fully open will work but be noisy. I doubt it and to be honest I'll probably buy a good brand name in-line pump as planned and save for emergencies.
